SYLVIA CHANG  as Jen

In an illustrious entertainment career spanning 30 years, Ms. Sylvia Chang has starred in over 90 films and television shows, including the highly acclaimed Canadian film, "The Red Violin," the US TV series, "M*A*S*H," and director Ang Lee's international smash, "Eat Drink Man Woman."

Equally accomplished in music and behind the scenes, Sylvia has won numerous awards in all her endeavors. Most recently she was once again bestowed the "Best Actress" honor by the Hong Kong Film Awards for her portrayal of the mother of an autistic child in the HK independent film, "Forever and Ever."

 

MARTIN YAN  as Kim Chui

Mr. Martin Yan is the internationally renowned Chinese Chef on TV. His gourmet cook show "Yan Can Cook" is broadcast in over 76 countries around the world. He has written numerous best selling cook books and is one of the most sought-after entertainers in the world. With his "off-the-cuff" on-screen persona, he plays opposite Ms. Sylvia Chang as her confidant and rival chef. Aside from delivering his famous persona, Martin will offer a different side of him that audiences rarely get a chance to see.

         

MELANIE LAURENT as Sabine

Melanie was discovered at the tender age of 14 by famed French actor/director Gerard Depardieu and co-starred with him in "Un Pont entre deux Rives" ("The Bridge"), a film he also directed. She has appeared in five feature films and a number of TV series, and is a rising star back home in France.

 

TAN LEPHAM as Leo

Graphics design student Pham (pronounced Ñ Pahm) has ambitions of becoming either a professional skateboarder or a basketball player. His in-front-of-the-camera experience in Nokia, POD and Lime commercials prompted him to accompany a friend to a casting call for "Hainan Chicken Rice." Voted as the guy young Singaporean girls are most likely to date in "Seventeen" magazine, Pham is sure to capture thousands of adolescent hearts with his performance as the youngest brother "Leo."

         

MAGGIE Q as Gigi

Maggie, Hong Kong's top model, appears in a cameo role.

 

ALVIN CHIANG as Daniel

A part-time model, Alvin came for an audition after hearing news about a casting call for the film. This is the first time Alvin will be appearing on the big screen after having started his acting career in the Singaporean TV program, "Heartlanders."

         

CRAIG TOH as Harry

Juggling part-time studies with modelling and working as an IT technician, Craig started acting as early as primary school when he joined Boon Lay Primary's drama club. His most recent professional acting experience was a principal in a TV commercial for Tiger Beer.

 

ANDY MOK as Batman

Born and raised in Taiwan, Andy moved to Singapore with his family at the age of 10. An accomplished athlete and four time National Youth Champion in Taekwondo, Andy is equally at ease modeling clothes on the fashion runway. He's curious and excited about acting for the first time.
